MADISON, WI. On Saturday, September 12th Adams Outdoor Advertising will use their Beltline Highway Digital Bulletin to show live Twitter updates during the University of Wisconsin Football game versus Fresno State. The tweets will be generated by University of Wisconsin Athletic Department staff as they update the official UW Football Twitter page. (

“This is a fun way to show how the oldest medium in the world can interact with one of the newest mediums,” said Chris Eigenberger, General Manager of Adams Outdoor Advertising of Madison. “We are very excited to team with the UW Athletic Department to make this happen.”

“Direct communication with our friends and followers is a priority for Wisconsin Athletics,” said Kevin Kluender, Assistant Athletic Director, Marketing & Promotions. “We are pleased to work with Adams Outdoor Advertising on this project to help us promote our Badger Football Twitter while providing real-time game updates to Badger fans not at the game.”

The UW Football Twitter updates will display once every minute rotating with other advertiser messages throughout the game. Adams Outdoor Advertising will continue the updates throughout the 2009 season for both home and away games.

The Digital Bulletin is located on the Beltline Highway between the Rimrock Road and John Nolen Drive exits. The updates will be displayed on both the easwill look follows on the next page.
