Wisconsin Ethanol Coalition to Launch Statewide Radio Ad Campaign

Ad Focuses on the Positive Benefits of Ethanol for Wisconsin

MADISON – The Wisconsin Ethanol Coalition announced today that it will be

launching a statewide radio ad campaign to educate the public on the positive

economic, environmental, and practical benefits of ethanol use in Wisconsin.

“As gas prices reach record amounts, it is important for people to know that

ethanol is a clean, renewable fuel alternative that can help protect the

environment and can reduce our dependency on foreign oil,” said Joshua Morby,

spokesman for the Wisconsin Ethanol Coalition. “We are hoping that this radio

campaign will educate people across Wisconsin on the positive benefits of

ethanol.”

The 30-second radio ad, which will begin running statewide on Tuesday, May 27,

promotes the benefits of the ethanol industry to Wisconsin, including its potential

to create jobs, lower gas prices, and reduce the state’s dependence on foreign

oil. The ad also encourages consumers to visit the Wisconsin Ethanol Coalition

website to find out more about how ethanol can have a positive impact in

Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Ethanol Coalition is a diverse group of businesses, environmental

groups, and statewide and local organizations that have come together to build

both public and legislative awareness of ethanol issues.
