WisBusiness: Manitowoc’s Invincible Metal Furniture to close

Invincible Metal Furniture Company in Manitowoc has told state and local officials that it plans to close its plant on May 12 and lay off approximately 81 workers.

The company is in receivership, and the notice was provided by receiver Michael Polsky, a spokesman for the Department of Workforce Development said.

In his letter, Polsky said the closure will be permanent, but the DWD said the workers may not lose their jobs if the company is sold.
