MADISON, Wis. – September 30, 2008 – The law firm of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. announced today that it has expanded its real estate practice in Madison with the addition of attorney Brian D. Anderson.

Anderson concentrates his practice on commercial real estate acquisition, construction, disposition, finance, development and leasing. He also has significant experience in a broad range of sophisticated business transactions, including licensing, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, manufacturing and distribution agreements. He has also developed a national reputation in the area of green building development and related legal issues, having presented at, among other events, a National Association of Home Builders convention, a national Environmental Design and Construction webinar, a national American Bar Association webinar, and at the state convention of the Wisconsin Bar Association. Anderson has also published articles in the area of technology licensing, corporate governance, and on the application of federal securities laws to green building disclosures. He has also been recognized by the United States Green Building Council as a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED-AP). Before practicing law, he worked as an English and mathematics teacher, served as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Kenya , and produced numerous pieces for print publications and public radio.

Anderson received his law degree from University of Maryland School of Law with a certificate in Environmental law.
