White Cap Real Estate Opens East Coast Branch

Firm Establishes Presence in D.C. Market with Virginia Office


                                                                         


Ashburn, Va.-White Cap Real Estate, a Wisconsin-based real estate investment
firm specializing in 1031 Tenant-In-Common solutions, has opened an east
coast branch. The Ashburn, Va. office, which opened in early June, is the
firm’s third location. White Cap also has offices in Madison and Appleton,
Wis., and partners with a firm in California.    


 


Steady commercial growth in the Washington, D.C. and Mid-Atlantic real
estate market prompted White Cap Real Estate’s decision to establish an east
coast branch.  According to the Urban Land Institute’s 2008 Emerging Trends
in Real Estate report, Washington, D.C. continues to be one of the most
watched commercial real estate markets.  The D.C. area is projected to
remain strong because of increased government spending.

D.C. as one of the top real estate market in the country,” said Jason

The Virginia office is headed by Steve Thiry, a founding member of White Cap
Real Estate and WisConn Investments, LLC, a five-year-old private equity

and retail centers throughout Wisconsin, Illinois and Maryland. With 27
years of experience in operations management, business assessment,
acquisition and divestiture, Thiry has an extensive background in evaluating
