What Would You Look Like Bald? Like a Hero to Kids With Cancer, Says the St. Baldrick’s Foundation

MIDDLETON, Wis., April 7, 2008 /PRNewswire/ — Each year cancer touches so many of our lives, and it kills more children in the United States than any other disease. At 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 15th, the second annual event in Middleton, Wisconsin will see over 38 people from six companies participate, raising funds for life-saving cancer research. These brave participants will be led to a stage at Cheeseburger in Paradise, 1601 Aspen Commons in Greenway Station, to have their heads shaved in support of children undergoing treatment by members of the University of Wisconsin Marching Band, and “Grand Marshals” — University of Wisconsin Mascot Bucky Badger, and Dr. Diane Puccetti of UW School of Medicine & American Family Children’s Hospital’s Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology.

“Shavees” include employees and executives from Capitol Insurance Companies, Liberty Mutual Group, Stark Company Realtors, Wyde Solutions, CGI, and Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Support for this brave group may be shown by visiting the St. Baldrick’s Foundation website at http://www.stbaldricks.org/, or calling 1-888-899-BALD. On the website you can select a picture of one of our “shavees” or simply donate to the Team.
