COMBINED LOCKS, WI — U.S. Oil Co. Inc. finalized the purchase of land located in the CE Commercial Park in Kimberly, Wisconsin. The land is the future site of U.S. Oil’s new corporate headquarters. The purchase is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to support increased operational effectiveness and team collaboration. The announcement also reflects the continued commitment to the community. In response to the purchase, U.S. Oil President, John Schmidt said, “The Fox Cities have always been our home and we’re excited to support its long term economic development.”

The new site will allow the company to unite office and managerial functions of many of the business units under one central location including: U.S. Petroleum Operations, U.S. AutoForce, and Express Convenience Centers. The headquarters is projected to accommodate more than 250 associates.

While no construction date is set at this time, the company is already working with Hoffman, LLC of Appleton to begin the initial stages of planning for the building. Hoffman will be providing Total Project Management services from design inception through construction management. Although the process has just begun, the company does know that the building will incorporate environmentally sustainable design and construction practices and, upon completion, apply to become LEED® certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). LEED certification supports the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability and investing responsibly in the community at large. Says Mr. Schmidt, “Our new building will be a world class facility designed to reflect our core values that have led to our success. With this new building we will enhance team collaboration and advance our competitive performance, giving us the ability to further drive innovation and strategic growth for our company.”
