BKT Enterprises has told state and local officials that it plans to close a Sentry grocery store in Waukesha and terminate 54 workers.
The company said the layoffs are due to “unforeseen circumstances” and will begin on March 4.
Workers at the store are represented by United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 1473. They do not have bumping rights.
