Ultimate Light Beer Offering Free Miller Lite To Members of Championship Teams

MILWAUKEE, May 29 /PRNewswire/ — With the heroes of the hardwood fighting to play in pro basketball’s ultimate series and hockey’s top teams vying for a shot at one of the oldest trophies in all of sports, Miller Lite today announced it will award members of pro sports’ championship teams with something more than a just a trophy: All players and coaches who are a part of a 2008-2009 major professional sports championship season will be eligible to receive the ultimate prize — free Miller Lite for a year, where legal.

“We want to recognize those who have also achieved that ‘ultimate’ status as the best at what they do,” said Antonio Maldonado, Miller Lite marketing vice president. “A lot goes into becoming a winner and we’re looking forward to rewarding these champions with the ultimate light beer.”

Miller Lite will be available to all legal-drinking-age players and coaches who win pro basketball, pro hockey, pro baseball or pro football championships in the 2008-2009 season. Any eligible members of the teams can send an email to champions@mbco.com and they will be contacted to coordinate their prize.**
