The Business Journal Serving Greater Milwaukee recognizes DDN’s recent success, ambitious future agenda
MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. – September 19, 2008 – With consistent growth averaging more than 20-percent year over year for the past three years, DDN has been recognized for its record of success with a 2008 Mid-Market Growth Award, DDN President Ross Bjella announced today.
The award is presented by The Business Journal Serving Greater Milwaukee. The news appears in today’s edition. A larger article about DDN will appear in the Oct. 24 edition.
“We congratulate DDN for its continued growth,” Publisher Mark Sabljak said. “Despite the many obstacles that companies face in their day-to-day operations, including a downturn in the economy, DDN has been able to overcome those obstacles and remain on track — and we commend them for their efforts.”
Bjella thanked The Business Journal Serving Greater Milwaukee for the honor and noted that DDN is poised to continue its explosive growth in 2008 and beyond.
“DDN has launched more life science companies than any other outsourced service provider or third-party logistics service in the industry,” Bjella said. “DDN’s record is one of helping other businesses live up to their promise in successfully delivering life-enhancing products to market. It is an honor to be recognized for the many partnerships DDN has formed, and DDN is proud to be a leader in Wisconsin’s expanding life science community.”
Since 2004, DDN has doubled the size of its client list and greatly expanded its service capability, including the recent launch of a highly successful Medical Information division designed to support new government reporting requirements for product information, complaints and adverse events.
DDN currently provides an array of outsourced services for several dozen life science companies. The number of client orders processed has grown abundantly while maintaining inventory and shipping accuracy of 99.9 percent – well in excess of industry standards.
“DDN is far more than just a third-party pharmaceutical logistics business,” Bjella commented. “With pharmaceutical, biologic and medical device clients, DDN provides a full suite of shared services tailored specifically to life sciences well beyond warehousing and distribution, and that is how we are able to grow in a highly competitive environment.”
