MILWAUKEE, July 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — At its July 26 meeting, the Smith Investment Company Board of Directors voted to increase the company’s quarterly dividend 22 percent to $.28 per share. The dividend will be payable Sept. 4 to shareholders of record Aug. 15.
Smith Investment is a diversified company with headquarters in Milwaukee, Wis. Its product lines include multicolor printing and related services and commercial warehousing, trucking and packaging. The company also owns a control position in A. O. Smith Corporation (NYSE:AOS) .
