Shopko Names Tammy Hermann Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer

GREEN BAY, Wis., Sept. 19 /PRNewswire/ — Shopko announced today the appointment of Tammy Hermann as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Hermann will report to Michael R. MacDonald, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

“Tammy’s breadth of experience and in-depth understanding of the retail industry positions her exceptionally well to lead Shopko’s aggressive systems initiatives over the next several years,” said MacDonald.

Hermann has been with Shopko and Pamida for six years in the Information Services division. She has more than 23 years of information services experience with companies such as TD Ameritrade and Mutual of Omaha and served as a senior level consultant for companies such as Walt Disney World in Florida and Western Union. Hermann holds a Masters degree in Computer Science and a Bachelors in Management Information Systems.

In addition, Ray Petersen has been named Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of E-Commerce reporting to Hermann. Petersen has been the Vice President Operations Technology and Information Security for the past three years and has a broad-based knowledge of Shopko systems and operations.
