Rock Culture Music Festival Announces Madison Headliners

April 24, 2007 – Milwaukee, WI – CKME Entertainment, organizers of the Rock Culture Music Festival, announced today the headliners for its Madison tour stop which takes place April 27th-28th and May 4th– May 5th at the Annex located on the University of Wisconsin – Madison campus.




Local Madison band, I Voted For Kodos, will headline April 28th in one of their final performances. The group recently announced that they would be disbanding. “These guys have some great stuff and we’re glad that they agreed to play our festival as one of their final shows, it’s really an honor”, says CKME Entertainment President and CEO Chris Kokalis. “We’re hoping fans come out and support them.”




The festival ends May 5th when Chicago band Spitalfield takes the stage. The Chicago based band is on the Victory Records label. Touring non-stop has built Spitalfield a passionate fan base – downloads of their songs on popular music site, purevolume.com, top 300,000. Spitalfield also made the Alternative Press’s 100 Bands You Need To Know and toured the U.K. with the popular band Fall Out Boy in Summer 2005.




Along with the headlining bands Rock Culture Madison will feature bands from around the Midwest including: The Last Few, When Fables Turn to Fears, Utah, Population 4, Atomic Blue, Gabriel Hunter, Facesteak, Remembering Crimson, Koala Taxi, The Wildbirds, Hillcrest Road, Chandelier, Walking Ruins, Lives On Layaway, Malice In Wonderland, Where the I Divides, Missing Tomorrow, Polydream, Wait For Yesterday, Profuse, Ceteri, From the Headline, The Readiness, The Affair Divine, Sophia’s Revenge, Skaput, The Cactus Hi-Fi, Call You Out, Ice Cap Fortune, and Now You Have Audio.




Tickets for the festival are $6 in advance and $8 at the door on 4/27, 4/28, & 5/4 and $10 in advance & $12 at the door on 5/5.
