PSC to Hold Public Information Meetings on Proposed Wind Farm in Fond du Lac County

MADISON – The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) will hold public information meetings on February 12 in Eden, Wisconsin regarding Alliant Energy’s request to build a wind farm in Fond du Lac County.


Alliant Energy submitted an application with the PSC for authorization to build a wind generation facility, known as the Cedar Ridge Wind Farm, in the towns of Eden and Empire.  The Cedar Ridge Wind Farm proposal includes 41 wind turbines, generating up to 98 megawatts of electricity. 


The PSC is inviting the public to attend the public information meetings about the proposed wind farm.  The meetings will provide the public with an opportunity to talk one-on-one with PSC staff about the proposed project, ask questions, and express any concerns they may have.  The meetings are scheduled for:


Monday, February 12
1:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Eden Banquet Hall
303 East Main Street
Eden, WI
