NEW NORTH, August 28, 2007 – Inc. Magazine recently released its list of the 5,000 fastest growing companies in the country, and with 17 companies and 11 communities from Northeast Wisconsin, the New North is well-represented on the list.

“The New North has been an ideal location for our company to grow and thrive,” said David Lisle, President of Wausaukee Composites, which was named to the list.  “With a talented workforce throughout the region, Northeast Wisconsin is a perfect choice for companies looking to succeed in a competitive marketplace.”

The Inc. Magazine rankings were determined by calculating the percentage revenue growth from 2003 to 2006 for privately-held companies based inside the United States with revenues of at least $200,000 in 2003 and $2 million in 2006.  Of the 5,000 companies named to the list, 121 are based in Wisconsin.
