CHICAGO and WATERTOWN, Wis., July 9 /PRNewswire/ — Houlihan Smith & Company Inc. (Houlihan) acted as the exclusive financial advisor in arranging a credit facility and equipment leasing facility for BSC Enterprises, LLC and BSC Equipment, LLC, also supporting their subsidiary, Clark Trucking, Inc., it was announced by Charles Botchway, Vice Chairman of Houlihan. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The financing was provided by Amcore Bank headquartered in Rockford, Illinois. “This facility will provide a considerable amount of savings to the company, and position them for marked growth,” stated Sylvester Gbewonyo, Houlihan’s Managing Director on the transaction.
BSC Enterprises began operations in 2000 in Watertown, Wisconsin. BSC Equipment focuses on trucking equipment used for BSC Enterprises’ main business of shipping and delivery services. Clark Trucking, BSC Enterprises, and BSC Equipment provide asset-based, full-service trucking and brokerage operations. The companies support a diverse range of freight handling while continuing to specialize in food product shipping. With their strong customer base, the companies are poised for expansion of all lines of business.
