Governor Doyle Announces Funding for Berbee

MADISON—Governor Jim Doyle announced today that Berbee Information Networks Corporation, Fitchburg, Dane County, will receive $250,000 in Technology Zone tax credits


 


“My administration calls for investing in Wisconsin’s economy by fostering technology growth,” said Governor Doyle.  “I am pleased that Berbree Information Networks Corporation is developing an additional data center and creating family supporting jobs in Dane County.”


 


Berbee Information Networks Corporation was founded in 1993 and provides a range of computer infrastructure consulting, hardware procurement, application development, and telephone services for major corporations. The company is investing in equipment for a new data center. Total project cost is $1,900,000. The project will create 28 jobs.
