Garden Tools Receive Prestigious Ease-of-Use Commendation
SAUK CITY, Wis., July 6 /PRNewswire/ — Nearly one in three Americans suffer from some form of arthritis. Fiskars Garden & Outdoor Living provides a solution to get those people back into the garden. Fiskars PowerGear(R) line of garden tools makes gardening so much easier that the Arthritis Foundation(R) has awarded them with the prestigious Ease-of-Use Commendation.
The Arthritis Foundation created its Ease-of-Use program to encourage manufacturers to design user-friendly products and packaging. Manufacturers submit their product(s) for testing by an independent lab experienced in the design and evaluation of products that are accessible to people with functional limitations due to the effects of arthritis.

Eight Fiskars tools have successfully completed Arthritis Foundation testing and bear the Ease-of-Use Commendation: PowerGear Bypass Pruner (7936 and 7937), PowerGear Anvil Pruner (7941), PowerGear Anvil Lopper (7972), PowerGear Bypass Lopper (9625 and 9619), PowerGear Bypass Lopper (9627), and PowerGear Hedge Shears (9189).
