Edgewood College welcomes on Thursday evening the three authors of the book The Faith Club, a Muslim, a Christian, and a Jew—Three Women Search for Understanding. Ranya Idliby, Suzanne Oliver, and Priscilla Warner will speak about their more than two-year experience of interfaith dialogue and respond to audience questions.
The three authors – a Muslim, a Christian, and a Jew – originally intended to edit a children’s anthology containing stories relevant to the three Abrahamic faiths. Soon they discovered that they could not edit this book without better understanding each other’s faith tradition and in turn better understanding and appreciating their own distinctive religions.
The trio will speak at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Anderson Auditorium, 1000 Edgewood College Drive, Madison.
