CHAMNESS GROUP EMPLOYEE RETURNS WITH INSIGHT ON BUSINESS IN BRAZIL

Olivia Marshall, an Associate at Chamness Group, was one of six team members selected to represent Wisconsin Rotary District #6270 as part of the Group Study Exchange Program sponsored by Rotary Club.  Marshall, who recently returned from the one-month trip to Bahia, Brazil, connected with business owners from over 25 companies and even with Brazilian/Milwaukee distribution networks. The business exchange is a unique vocational and cultural exchange opportunity for young business professionals.

“This exchange experience undoubtedly provided me with concepts and lessons learned that I can apply to my personal work and my company. I returned with ideas on everything from marketing and non-profit management to group communication and consensus-building,” said Marshall.

As part of the team’s visit to Educafé, Marshall was introduced to a Brazilian supplier of Stone Creek Coffee, headquartered in Encruzilhada, Brazil. The Rotary exchange team also toured Azaleia, one of the world’s five largest footwear manufacturers; Veracel, a world supplier of pulp products, numerous schools and universities, and many more organizations both large and small.
