Who:    Wisconsin small-business owners and Bill G. Smith, NFIB/Wisconsin state director, will have the opportunity to meet with state officials to discuss small-business priorities.    

NFIB/Wisconsin, along with 21 other trade and professional associations, will meet with elected officials to promote the Small Business Legislative Growth Agenda: legal reform, affordable, quality health-care options, tax reductions and regulatory reform.  

The day-long event begins with the NFIB breakfast with special legislative briefing at 7:45 a.m. featuring presentations by Rep. Terry Moulton, Chair, Assembly Committee on Small Business; Rep. Leah Vukmir, Chair, Assembly Committee on Health and Health Care Reform; Todd A. Berry, President, Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance, Madison.

Throughout the day conference participants will hear from a variety of prominent speakers including Scott A. Hodge, President, Tax Foundation, opening the morning general session at 9:15 a.m.; Rich Karlgaard, Publisher and Columnist, Forbes Magazine, opening the afternoon general session; the luncheon address by Wisconsin Attorney General J. B. Van Hollen; and Newt Gingrich will deliver the keynote address at 3:30 p.m.
