Brian E. Lee Joins Modine as its Managing Director of Global Passenger Thermal Management

RACINE, Wis.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Modine Manufacturing Company (NYSE:MOD), a diversified leader in thermal management technology and solutions, announced today that Brian E. Lee has joined the company as Managing Director, Global Passenger Thermal Management. He reports to Thomas Burke, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.


Lee brings to the position more than 20 years of experience in the climate control HVAC business, sales, marketing, program management, planning and product and manufacturing engineering.


With his 20-plus year background, Brian has outstanding knowledge of the climate control HVAC business for the automotive and commercial truck markets, Burke said. He has a proven ability to lead teams in developing innovative business proposals, product development projects and business processes to improve the profitability and effectiveness of the organization. Brian will play a key role in the growth of this important business for Modine.


Before joining Modine, Lee worked for Visteon Corporation where he was Director, Strategy & Planning for climate control operations and Sales Director, Chassis Products. Prior to the establishment of Visteon, Lee served in a variety of positions at Ford Motor Company, including its Automotive Components Group. He was Vehicle Line Manager for European and North American truck programs, Project Manager in Fords Technical Affairs organization, and held several engineering, manufacturing and supervisory positions in the Ford Climate Control Division. Early in his career, he worked as an acoustics engineer for the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft unit of United Technologies.


Lee received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. He and his wife, Angela, have three children.
