Bemis Identifies Busiest Mom Through Nationwide Search and Rescue Mission

20 amazing women recognized for balancing their full plates

SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis., Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ — Bemis Manufacturing’s mission to award the title “America’s Busiest Mom” has reached its crescendo with the announcement of the domestic diva who has the most frenzied schedule. During a first-of-its-kind search and rescue effort, Bemis scoured every corner of the nation and Canada to locate, recognize and rescue the Busiest Mom.

Research shows that moms do the majority of house cleaning. Their most dreaded task: cleaning the toilet. As the makers of the EasyClean(TM) line of toilet seats, Bemis decided to give busy moms an opportunity to take a seat, instead of cleaning it.

The mom deemed the busiest in the nation is Robin Kirton of Murray, Utah. Robin is the mother of six-three boys and three girls, ranging in age from 2 to 13-making her life extremely busy. The fact that each of her children is autistic practically defies description. She also has fibromyalgia, adding to her fatigue.

Robin’s hectic and sometimes turbulent life warranted a “MOMination” from her husband, John Kirton. In an excerpt from John’s nominating essay he writes, “Our house is a constant, ever-changing combination of meals, diaper changes, laundry, mopping, crying and comforting,”

Since Mother’s Day, women from across the United States and Canada were nominated by their husbands, children, friends and family in recognition of all they take on. The nomination essays were submitted through the Bemis Web site and scored by an expert panel of judges.

“We understand that cleaning the bathroom, and specifically the toilet, is the most unpleasant of all household chores. That’s precisely why we designed the EasyClean hinge,” said Scott Thompson, director of marketing for Bemis Mfg. “The Busy Mom Contest was our way of recognizing the daily heroics of every busy mom. To make the lives of our finalists a little easier, each received EasyClean toilet seats for their entire home.”

Robin will receive the ultimate de-stressing prize bundle valued at more that $11,000 to make her life a little easier. The package includes one year of:

  — Maid Service
— Handy Man Service
— Personal Chef Service
— Massage Therapist/Spa Treatments
— Babysitter Allowance
— EasyClean Toilet Seats — For the Entire Home

Mothers from across the country were chosen as finalists and each are worthy examples of a busy mom. Each of the finalists will receive EasyClean toilet seats for their entire home compliments of Bemis Manufacturing.
