Accelerate Madison to Host Udi Manber of Google

Accelerate Madison announces final details of an event being held on
Thursday evening,
September 27, 2007, at Overture Center in Madison.
Accelerate Madison, a nonprofit organization, is connecting people and
information technology via forums featuring nationally-relevant topics and
influential executive-level industry leaders.  Participants have a passion
for the Madison region’s economic vitality and are interested in coastal
and international perspectives.  The Sept. 27th event is open to the
public.

Speaker Udi Manber is a VP of Engineering at Google, responsible for core
search.  Before joining Google early in 2006, Udi Manber was CEO of
A9.com, a Senior VP at Amazon.com, and Yahoo’s Chief Scientist.  He began
his career on the faculty of UW-Madison’s Computer Sciences Department.

The Sept. 27th Accelerate Madison program will focus on some of the
non-obvious things Google does to organize the world’s information and
make it universally accessible and useful.
