MADISON, Wis. (January 17, 2006) – Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corporation’s (WECC) Executive Director Janet Brandt was recently elected to a two-year term on the Board of Directors for the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP). Brandt was one of ten chosen for the position from a field of 19 candidates.
With her election, Brandt will represent the perspective of program administrators for large-scale organizations on a state and regional level — expanding the industry representation on the AESP Board. With more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry, Brandt brings a wealth of knowledge in the creation and implementation of energy saving programs for consumers, businesses and policy makers.
“It is an honor for me to be elected to AESP’s Board of Directors,” said Brandt. “The opportunity to share ideas, information and experiences with a variety of energy industry professionals will prove invaluable in showcasing and strengthening WECC’s energy initiatives.”
Based in Texas, AESP is a member-driven organization that provides leadership in marketing, energy efficiency and technology applications throughout the energy services value chain with national conferences, brown bag internet seminars, education, training and professional papers.
