The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is once again inviting campus neighbors and members of the Stevens Point community to participate in a Master Planning Information Session on Thursday, March 16.

The event will be held in the Alumni Room of the Dreyfus University Center at 7:15 p.m. Parking is available at no charge in all campus lots after 7 p.m. An additional open session is scheduled for the evening of May 11.

The forum will include a presentation from the Ken Saiki Design consultants and time for responses and suggestions. It is intended to gather information about campus planning issues affecting the community and vice-versa. Many community leaders and local organizations have been invited to participate. Local residential and commercial neighbors of the university are particularly encouraged to become involved.

The final outcome of these planning sessions will be a long-range, overall plan which will incorporate recommendations on existing buildings, new facilities, exterior image improvements, landscaping, enhancement of pedestrian, bicycle and vehicle routes, a response to parking needs and on-campus residential facilities.
