MILWAUKEE-May 15, 2006- Scheibel Halaska, a leading B2B marketing communications firm, has been awarded three Paragon awards by the Public Relations Society of Southeastern Wisconsin.

Scheibel Halaska received an excellence award in the public affairs campaign category for their recent work in support of Midwest Fiber Network’s efforts to build a city-wide wireless network.

Two more awards for web site design and direct mail also were collected by Scheibel Halaska. The award-wining web site for Penda Corporation was launched as a sales-tool introducing their new product, SmartDitch. Since its launch, the web site has resulted in hundreds of sales leads and a 60 percent increase in unique visitors. The direct mail piece designed for Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek SC, announced the addition of intellectual property attorney Gina Carter to the firm. Designed to increase awareness of Carter’s move, the direct mail piece generated a 25 percent response rate.

“We are always honored when recognized by the Paragon Awards,” said Karl Robe, vice president of public relations for Scheibel Halaska. “Our goal is to continuously provide our clients with strategic communications programs that differentiate their companies from the competition. These awards recognize our accomplishments on behalf of our clients.”
