MILWAUKEE—July 5, 2006— Scheibel Halaska Director of Business Development Andy Narrai has been elected the Secretary/Treasurer of the American Advertising Federation’s Council of Governors, a role that will culminate in his chairmanship of that body in 2008.

His recent election at the AAF National Conference in San Francisco was the capstone to many years of volunteer service, during which he has served as Chairman of the Central Region of the AAF, District Governor of the AAF and president of the Milwaukee Advertising Club. In this position, Narrai will draw on his strong leadership skills and extensive industry experience to help the AAF achieve its mission of maintaining integrity while fostering innovation and growth in the advertising industry.

Scheibel Halaska strongly supports Andy’s commitment to the AAF, said Mary Scheibel principal of Scheibel Halaska. “The AAF is dedicated to truth and honesty in advertising, serving as an industry watchdog,” Scheibel said. “Scheibel Halaska aligns strongly with the AAF’s consistent pursuit of integrity in advertising.”

“Because of its involvement in critical industry issues such as socially responsible advertising to children, the AAF’s impact on Southeastern Wisconsin’s ad community is substantial,” said Narrai. “My new role with the AAF will put me at the forefront of issues affecting the advertising industry nationally, as well as locally.”

Described as the “Unifying Voice for Advertising,” the American Advertising Federation (AAF) is headquartered in Washington, D.C. It is the oldest national advertising trade association, representing 50,000 professionals in the advertising industry as well as 6,500 college students aspiring to join their ranks. The AAF also has 130 blue-chip corporate members that are advertisers, agencies and media companies, comprising the nation’s leading brands and corporations.

Scheibel Halaska offers a full spectrum of business communication services: from branding and positioning to the development of strategic communications in domains that include advertising, public relations, employee mobilization communications, direct marketing, sales communications and more.
