MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Rebecca A. Speckhard, a partner with the Firm’s Milwaukee office, has been recognized as one of the top 25 female lawyers in Wisconsin by Law & Politics.

Law & Politics compiles the annual list and surveys attorneys across Wisconsin. Attorneys are asked to vote for the best lawyers they have personally observed in action. The final list of Wisconsin Super Lawyers features the top 5 percent of attorneys in more than 50 practice areas. A total of 58 Quarles & Brady attorneys have been selected as Wisconsin Super Lawyers and five have been recognized among the top 25 female lawyers in Wisconsin.

Speckhard focuses her practice on municipal and government finance. She serves as bond counsel to municipal and government issuers throughout Wisconsin and has particular expertise in public utility revenue bond financings and community development authority and redevelopment authority financings and related tax incremental financing and development matters. She also serves as underwriter’s counsel and issuer’s counsel on public finance transactions.

She is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and National Association of Bond Lawyers. Speckhard earned her bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Wisconsin. She is a resident of Glendale.
