Planet Propaganda: Welcomes Eena Ballard as Interactive Media Project Manager

(Madison, Wis.) – Planet Propaganda has hired Eena Ballard as a project manager specializing in interactive media for such passion-based brands as Gary Fisher mountain bikes, Bretford furniture and workspaces, PunchStock royalty-free images, and Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches.

With an eye for detail and an ear for music, Ballard brings eight years of experience in developing, testing, deploying and maintaining interactive projects, as well as performing as a violist and vocalist. She also is well-versed in quality assurance, technical writing, systems analysis and her ability to bridge the creative and the technical, the tactical and the strategic.

Ballard joined Planet from Netconcepts where she was an account manager involved with search engine optimization and marketing, e-commerce and web development, and managing interactive projects for such clients as Steve Spangler Science, Gorton’s Fresh Seafood, Cabela’s outdoor retailer, and DM News’ editorial blog for direct marketers. Prior to this, she worked at Simon & Schuster as an associate producer for the New York publishing giant’s audio book division on the award-winning Chronicles: Volume One by Bob Dylan and on recording projects with other such notable authors as Muhammad Ali, Lewis Black, Tom Clancy, Mary Higgins Clark, Stephen King, Dr. Phil, Donald Trump, Sarah Vowell, and Bob Woodward.

Her breadth of skills also includes serving as a project manager for IT consultancy Isthmus Group, Inc. and as a web and data specialist with Musicnotes, an Internet-based sheet music store. Ballard continues to expand her knowledge through the Project Management Institute where she is preparing for the project management professional examination.

Ballard earned a certificate in project management for IT and project leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally, she graduated with honors from Florida State University with bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and music. She has performed and recorded with Brat and MaeRae, and toured internationally with Dr. Eugene Chadbourne and NoahJohn. In early January 2006, she returned to play as a guest of MaeRae at the High Noon Saloon in Madison.
