PDS: Becomes One Of First To Attain Cisco Specialization

– Paragon Development Systems Obtains Advanced Unified Communications Specialization –

Oconomowoc, Wis. (October 9, 2006) – Paragon Development Systems (PDS) has achieved Cisco Systems’ Advanced Unified Communications Specialization. The information technology service and solution provider with offices in Oconomowoc, Brookfield and Madison, Wis. is the first Cisco Partner in the Great Lakes Region to obtain the specialization.

“PDS has become one of the first partners in Wisconsin to achieve Cisco’s Advanced Unified Communications Specialization under our newly enhanced partner program,” said Tom Wells, manager of channel operations for Cisco. “This is a great accomplishment and shows their commitment to the market and their customers by investing in Cisco’s premiere voice specialization.”

Celebrating its 20th year of business October 1, PDS manages IT systems from design to end-user support, creating a niche in the market for complete infrastructure-to-desktop management and service. As a Cisco Premier Partner, PDS has provided its customers Cisco’s networking equipment and management tools with knowledgeable design, installation and support. Previously, in April 2006, PDS was recognized by Cisco Systems for achieving Cisco Channel Customer Satisfaction Excellence, the highest distinction a partner can achieve within the Cisco Channel Partner Program.

About the Cisco Partner Specialization Program

Initiated August 1, the Cisco Partner Specialization Program requires Partners to demonstrate expertise in technologies, solutions and Cisco Lifestyle Services through structured training road maps and a knowledge validation process. All Partners are required to begin the specialization process from the beginning in order to differentiate themselves from other Cisco providers.

Specializations reflect the depth of technology skills of the qualifying team. The Cisco Advanced Unified Communications Specialization recognizes Partners for their knowledge and expertise in designing, installing and supporting comprehensive, integrated network voice solutions, including IP Communications. Through this specialization, Partners meet customer needs, whether small, medium or enterprise-sized businesses, and focus on IP Communications opportunities that require advanced product knowledge and the ability to deploy solutions over multiple sites and geographies. Prerequisite assessments evaluate the Partner’s service practice.
