Milwaukee, WI (February 3, 2006) – Before popular dating shows like Elimidate, Blind Date and even the Love Connection, the Dating Game ruled the television airwaves. With Valentine’s Day on the horizon, the Milwaukee Urban League Professionals (MULYP) will host its version of the “Dating Game,” featuring Milwaukee’s most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes.

Three very eligible bachelors and three very eligible bachelorettes will select their dates based on a variety of questions they ask. And just like the original Dating Game, the contestants will be hidden from each other’s view.

MULYP’s version of the game will take place next Friday, Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. at Panache, 4104 W. Good Hope Road. Admission is only $10, with the proceeds going to fund Young Professionals’ scholarship fund. Contestants already have been picked for the game and Vivian King will be the emcee.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10 the day of the event or in advance by contacting Courtney Hunt at 414.349.2695 or by emailing [email protected] .

MULYP is comprised of young professionals across metro Milwaukee who are dedicated to serving their local communities through social and community activism. MULYP strives to engage these professionals in the Milwaukee Urban League’s movement toward achieving social and economic equality.

MULYP’s monthly meetings take place the third Thursday of the month at HeartLove Place, 3229 N. Martin Luther King Drive at 6 p.m. Please join us at MULYP’s next scheduled meeting on February 16.
