Midwest Connect: Upgrades Routes to Regional Jet Service

MILWAUKEE, Oct. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Travelers flying Midwest Connect will soon benefit from enhanced service on several routes, when the airline upgrades equipment from turboprop aircraft to its quick and comfortable Fairchild 328JET regional jets.

Beginning November 1:

— Midwest Connect will reinstate Milwaukee-Columbus midday service and upgrade that service to regional jet. This will make the market all regional jet service with the exception of Saturday-morning service, which will upgrade on November 18.

Beginning November 16:

— Midwest Connect will upgrade its Milwaukee-Dayton service to regional jet. It will also add service on Saturdays and slightly retime its existing service.

— The airline will also upgrade the Milwaukee-Appleton market to regional jet, with the exception of one Saturday-morning roundtrip.

— Additionally, it will upgrade one additional Milwaukee-Grand Rapids roundtrip daily.

The enhanced service comes as Midwest Connect adds an 11th Fairchild 328JET aircraft to its fleet. This state-of-the-art regional jet features 32 reclining leather seats, and the widest and tallest cabins in its class. On longer flights, inflight service includes complimentary fresh bakery on breakfast flights, snacks, baked-onboard chocolate chip cookies and beverages. Overhead storage and lavatory service are also offered on the 328JETs.
