The new blog, run by a team of Metrix employees, will discuss service management, software and technology
MILWAUKEE (September 21, 2006) – Metrix, Inc. today announced that they have launched a new blog discussing the service management industry as well as other related topics. The blog is located at http://www.metrix.com/blog.
A team of Metrix employees, including Metrix president and founder Larry Laux, will write the blog. Topics will range from service management to software and technology to Metrix announcements, and will be updated at least weekly.
“Over the past 25 years we’ve gained a lot of knowledge and expertise within the service management industry,” said Larry Laux, president and founder of Metrix. “Now we want to share this unique expertise and feel writing a blog will be an excellent way to do it.”
In addition to the entries from the Metrix blog team, readers will be allowed to leave comments on each post, which Laux hopes will start useful conversations between Metrix and the blog’s readers. “I’m looking forward to not only sharing our knowledge with readers, but learning from them as well.”
In the future, there is the possibility that Metrix will add new members to their blog team and bring in guest bloggers from partners, industry analysts and other service industry experts. Those interested can read the blog online at http://www.metrix.com/blog, or can subscribe to it though RSS, which is a technology that “feeds” blog posts to popular feed readers such as MyYahoo! and NewsGator.
