Lieutenant Governor Barbara Lawton will deliver the keynote address at the eighth annual Women’s Health Leadership Conference at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2006 at the Fluno Center on the University of Wisconsin campus. The theme of the daylong conference, sponsored by the Center for Women’s Health Research, is Women and Mental Health: Research, Resources and Resilience.
Lt. Governor Lawton is Honorary Chair of Wisconsin United for Mental Health. Earlier this year, she convened the Lt. Governor’s Task Force on Women and Depression.
