International Professionals Association (IPA) will celebrate its First Annual International Professionals Birthday Bash on Saturday, April 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Palace Latin Club in Madison (1401 University Ave).
The International Professionals Birthday Bash will benefit anyone who is interested in helping create a premier network of professionals in Greater Madison’s International community dedicated to building strong social ties and business networks.
Founded in April 2005, International Professionals holds monthly happy hours, educational forums, and networking events. IPA mission is to facilitate a social network in the Madison area for international professionals, and all those who are interested in meeting people from other countries. The group is quickly becoming the premier resource for Madison’s growing global community, providing access to the information and personal connections needed to flourish and prosper in the Greater Madison business community.
IPA members come from a variety of countries and cultures. They represent an array of professionals, including teachers, entrepreneurs, professors, small business owners, attorneys, real estate agents, graduate students, and executives. Most of them have come from overseas and are currently living in Dane County, either on a permanent or temporary basis. Many IPA members are Americans who have experience living and working abroad, or in international businesses and organizations. Regardless of their nationality, they are all looking for ways to make new friends, build a local peer group, share information, and meet new business associates.
