Inacom Information Systems, a leading technology solutions provider throughout Wisconsin, announces Dane Manufacturing as the Extreme Wireless Makeover! winner. This is the first Wireless Makeover ever performed in the IT industry, and the second Makeover campaign in the IT industry overall.
The Extreme Wireless Makeover! is a campaign to motivate Wisconsin businesses to transform to wireless environments. Today, the fastest growing business transformation is converting offices to a wireless foundation. Inacom Information Systems embraces the trend and wants the state of Wisconsin to keep up with the IT evolution. With the support of IT experts such as, Cisco Systems, Microsoft, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, EMC, and McAfee, Inacom with their IT partners will be providing the latest technology to Dane Manufacturing.
Forty-seven companies, statewide and of various sizes, applied for the Extreme Wireless Makeover! After heavily researching all the companies, Inacom had to make a rather tough decision to select a final winner. Dane Manufacturing met all the criteria that Inacom and their supporting partners established in the contest.
Dane Manufacturing, established in 1917 serves many different industries providing parts, subassemblies, and complete assembled products in a wide variety of metals and finishes.
Troy Berg, president and CEO of Dane Manufacturing, purchased the company 4 years ago. Under Troy’s leadership, the company has grown revenues by 25-30% and increased employment for the state of Wisconsin.
Dane Manufacturing has been a loyal supporter to the town of Dane and the state of Wisconsin organizations, such as TEC (The Executive Committee), Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce, Waunakee Rotary, Waunakee Chamber of Commerce, FMA (Fabrication Manufacturing Association), Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Dane County, and The United Way.
