Madison Wisconsin, Oct. 2 — U.S. Cellular’s Leadership and Organizational Development area recently awarded Imagine Brainwave Technology a contract to create a Leadership Competency Toolkit. Imagine Brainwave Technology, a Madison, Wisconsin educational technology consulting firm. The Toolkit will allow members of the executive team to identify staff competency gaps specific to leadership skills and behaviors. Once leadership competency gaps are determined, managers can create learning plans and training schedules for staff.
The contract calls for the creation of leadership competencies and the identification of various learning activities to support the company’s on-going leadership development strategy. The Leadership Competency Toolkit will be accessible to managers over the Internet. Graphics and on-screen menus guide users through the process.
“We’re excited to have an opportunity to take a good process and make it better” said Plumer Lovelace, Owner of Imagine Brainwave Technology. “US Cellular has been effectively using a print based Talent Review Process for several years now,” added Lovelace. “We’re hoping that by making the process web based we can make things easier and at the same time add a few reporting functions.”
The contract runs through December 2006, and the deliverable will be hosted by Imagine Brainwave Technology.
