Madison, WI (March 24, 2006) – As part of ongoing tornado recovery efforts, the Stoughton Tornado Recovery Team has invited HospiceCare Inc. to offer a special session of Grief’s Stepping Stones, a grief support group. The group is being offered to provide special support to those who suffered a loss due to the tornadoes that devastated the area last August, but is also open to anyone who has suffered a loss. This special series will be held April 10, 17, and 24 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. and will meet at the Stoughton Senior Center, 248 W. Main Street, Stoughton.

Grief’s Stepping Stones is an informative grief support group series examining the grief process in three consecutive sessions. The group sessions, facilitated by a professional grief counselor, offer a safe, supportive place where members of the group can express their grief, fears and concerns, as well as their hopes.

There is no fee for participation in Grief’s Stepping Stones. Participants may attend any or all three sessions in the series and pre-registration is not required. For more information about this session of Grief’s Stepping Stones call HospiceCare at (608) 276-4660 and ask to speak with bereavement counselor Emily Link or contact Amy McFarland of the Stoughton Tornado Recovery Team at (608) 873-2170.

Please call HospiceCare at (608) 276-4660 if you would like more information regarding additional grief groups or about grief-related counseling.
