Madison, WI (January 12, 2006) – Dan Chin has joined HospiceCare, Inc. as its director of public affairs. Chin’s impact in the Madison community through his knowledge of marketing and public relations has been widely acknowledged. For his work in journalism, he was one of three honored guests at the 2001 Associated Press Managing Editors Convention and was recently named one of Madison’s top 40 business executives under the age of 40 by In Business magazine. In his new capacity, he will be developing opportunities to provide information to the public about the comprehensive end-of-life services available through HospiceCare.
“HospiceCare is such an invaluable asset to Dane and Rock counties,” says Chin. “It is a great pleasure to work for an organization that puts caring for others at the forefront of its day-to-day business. This organization is one of the fastest growing nonprofit hospices in the region, and the level of respect it has for its patients, families, employees, volunteers and partners is truly remarkable.”
Chin’s goal is to build awareness of the quality end-of-life options that HospiceCare provides with comfort and dignity. “I look forward to educating the public about end-of-life issues and the importance of expressing healthcare wishes to family and loved ones.”
