MADISON, WI- A record number of spectators converged on Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, August 8-12, to witness the electrifying performances of the world’s most elite and exclusive marching music ensembles at the Drum Corps International (DCI) World Championships.

In total, 21,232 spectators enjoyed this year’s DCI World Championship Finals on Aug. 12, in Madison, placing it between those of the last two years at Foxboro, MA (20,542) and the 2004 World Championships in Denver, CO (22,047). In addition, combined attendance over four days of Division II & III events at Camp Randall Stadium totaled 4,190, surpassing the most recorded at the World Championships in more than 10 years.
