Gov. Doyle: To Attend Applied Printing and Technology Center Groundbreaking

Governor Jim Doyle will attend the groundbreaking for the Printing Applied Technology Center at Waukesha County Technical College at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, April 7, 2006.

The proposed 27,000-square-foot facility will support product testing, applied research, printing industry seminars, conferences, and a year-round Product Expo and Demonstration area. It will bring national and international printing industry participants together in a collaborative environment where advanced research can be rapidly translated into applied solutions for real world challenges.

Later in the day, at 12:45 p.m., Governor Doyle will address the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) Ninth Annual Energy Symposium at the Milwaukee Athletic Club. The Energy Symposium offers business and industrial leaders, elected officials, and other community representatives the opportunity to come together to develop solutions to Wisconsin’s future energy needs and challenges.
