“Manufacturing is at the heart of Wisconsin‘s economy,” Governor Doyle said.  “This project will continue to expand the industry, stimulate the economy and create good jobs for the community.  I am pleased that we could help Capitol Stamping Corp. purchase the assets of a business, create jobs, and retain jobs that would otherwise have been lost.”

Capitol Stamping Corp., designs, engineers and manufactures specialty metal stampings.  In September 2005, this company invested $6.8 million to purchase the assets of a company of the same name that was in receivership.  It will retain 89 employees and hire 48 employees over the next three years.
