Fujitsu Consulting: Acquires Illinois-based Greenbrier & Russel

Purchase Enhances Fujitsu Consulting’s Service Offerings; Aligns to North American Growth Strategy through Expanded Footprint in Mid-West

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Chicago, IL, February 15, 2006 – Fujitsu Consulting today announced that it has acquired the business and capabilities of Greenbrier & Russel (G&R), a privately-held business and technology services firm based in Schaumburg, IL. The addition of G&R will extend Fujitsu’s capabilities in core skill areas such as Oracle and PeopleSoft enterprise resource planning (ERP) suites, business intelligence, Microsoft and Java technologies, and training while expanding its presence in important markets including Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Minneapolis, Wisconsin and Phoenix.

“Greenbrier & Russel is well known for its highly qualified and competent professional staff, its superior consulting capabilities, collaborative approach and achievement of client-defined results,” said senior vice president Greg Forlenza of Fujitsu Consulting. “This acquisition is a platform from which Fujitsu can leverage these exceptional people and capabilities across an even broader client base.”

“This is the next logical step in the evolution of our company and will benefit G&R customers and employees,” said Eric Wasowicz, co-CEO of Greenbrier & Russel. “Customers will have increased access to a broader set of services and delivery options and our employees will enjoy the growth potential as part of an international company on the leading edge of technology consulting.”

G&R co-founders Howard Blietz and Eric Wasowicz will remain with Fujitsu Consulting in senior executive roles, providing continued leadership and direction to customer-facing sales and delivery functions. While some integration activities will begin immediately, the majority of G&R’s 425 employees will continue to operate as a business unit within Fujitsu Consulting, with most remaining in their current assignments, providing clients with the assurance of continuity on existing projects.

The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Fujitsu Consulting’s growth strategy is focused on enhancing its presence and capabilities in key North American markets and segments, in part, through strategic acquisitions. With the announcement of the G&R transaction, Fujitsu Consulting has now completed four acquisitions over a 15-month period, during which time the company also acquired GIM Risk Management of Montreal, QC, Born Information Services of Minneapolis, MN and Cendera Solutions of Dallas, TX.
