Destiny Health Furthers Commitment to the Health of Brown County

GREEN BAY, Wis., and CHICAGO, Dec. 19 /PRNewswire/ — To further entrench their wellness commitment to the Healthy Lifestyles Cooperative of Brown County, Destiny Health, a pioneer in the field of consumer-directed health care, has entered into a partnership with the YMCAs in Green Bay, WI to offer members of The Destiny Health Plan(TM) dues subsidies and membership perks at these facilities.

Under the partnership, plan members will receive a subsidy, ranging from 40 to 100 percent, from Destiny Health on monthly membership dues based upon their Vitality Status (Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum).

The Destiny Health Vitality Program(TM) encourages members to make healthy lifestyle choices and rewards them with Vitality Bucks(TM), redeemable for name brand merchandise, travel discounts, and other perks. With each workout at the YMCA, Destiny Health members will earn Vitality Bucks that will help enable them to achieve their Vitality Status(R) goals and rewards.

“Our partnership with The Healthy Lifestyles Cooperative of Brown County is the first step in ensuring the health and wellness of the employees in the Brown County area,” says Art Carlos. “The next would be to find local businesses to help support our initiative to provide easy access to our members to the healthy activities and education that would elevate their experience with our model of consumer-directed health care. This partnership with the YMCAs in the Green Bay area is just the support we need to show our commitment to our member’s well-being.”

“Partnering with Destiny Health is fitting for the Greater Green Bay YMCA as we too are taking an active role in improving the health and wellness of our community,” said Steve Harty, President and CEO of the Greater Green Bay YMCA. “In line with the YMCA’s vision of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities, The Destiny Health Vitality Program is a good example of a creative approach to a wellness program that rewards its members.

“We feel this is a community strengthening program with adults managing their health and taking it home to their family members — only positive things can happen. We look forward to working with Destiny Health to improve the health of our community.”
