“These packages are all about the weather,” says Delafield Hotel proprietor Andrew Ruggeri. “One day the lawns are covered with snow and the next day it may all melt. It makes it hard to offer an ongoing cross country skiing package so we decided to add a two-hour fitness training session just in case there is no snow in sight. We are also tempting fate by offering a winter warm-up package. If the temperature rises above 60 degrees, you get 60 percent off your stay that day,” says Ruggeri. “Of course, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that this doesn’t happen until after March 20th”.
The “Rain, Sleet or Snow” package – Addressing the unpredictability of the weather, the package features overnight accommodations in an executive suite, two sets of snow shoes or
cross country skis OR two, two-hour personal training sessions at the neighboring “Be Wellness and Fitness Center ”. The price for this package is $329 including tax.
“Snow Bound” – Just got dumped on and nothing to do but stay in your room, have we got the package for you! Featuring one night’s accommodations in an Executive Suite, two hot toddies delivered to your room, two in-room massages and a selection of movies with a stranded theme (Home Alone, Misery and Psycho to name a few), this package costs $529 including tax.
“Snowy Delight Day or Night” – Situated five minute’s from Lapham State Park which offers Wisconsin’s only lighted cross country trails, this package is for those who want to spend the day or evening on the wooded cross country trails of this state park located in the Kettle Moraine area. Package includes overnight accommodation in an executive suite, two drinks of your choice at Andrew’s Jazz Bar, two sets of cross country skis and a trail map of Lapham State Park . Price is $329 including tax..
“Winter Warm-up” – To tempt fate, the hotel will offer an incredible 60% discount on all room categories if the temperature rises above 60 degrees between now and March 20th (the first day of spring). This offer will only be available on the day of the plus 60 degree temperatures.
