MADISON – If you are interested in learning more about what it takes to grow your fish farm, plan to attend the annual Wisconsin Aquaculture Conference in Fond du Lac in March.
“Growing Wisconsin Aquaculture: Networking Small Fry with the Big Fish” will be held March 17-18 at the Holiday Inn & Holidome, 625 W. Rolling Meadows Drive, Fond du Lac, WI 54937.
“Attending this conference is the single best way for a fish farmer to get expert, hands-on working knowledge of fish farming and to connect with other fish farmers,” said Rod Nilsestuen, secretary of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. The state has more than 2,000 registered fish farms.
