* Steve Johnson, CPA, Assurance Partner- Racine office- Steve joined Clifton Gunderson in 1994, and specializes in providing audit and accounting services to manufacturers, wholesalers, and nonprofit organizations. Steve is very committed to the community and profession he serves. He was a member of the inaugural class of Leadership Racine and has worked with various community organizations. He currently serves on the board of directors of his alma mater, St. Catherine’s High School. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Steve earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire .

* Brad Mueller, Partner- Madison office- Brad joined Clifton Gunderson in 2002 as Vice President, Insurance Services. An expert in life, disability, health, and long-term care insurance, Brad now heads CG Risk Management, the firm’s insurance and executive benefits consulting practice. His leadership in this role enables the firm to provide an important complement to its consulting practice: access to a broad range of solutions to clients’ insurance and retirement plan needs.

A native of Eau Claire , Wis. , Brad graduated summa cum laude from Concordia College in Moorhead , Minn. He holds the Chartered Life

Underwriter (CLU) and Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) designations, is insurance and securities licensed in 25 states, and is appointed

with more than 30 insurance carriers.

* Michael Scholz, CPA, Tax Partner- Madison office- Mike joined Clifton Gunderson in 2001 as a Senior Manager. Mike specializes in providing federal and state tax compliance and consulting strategies on a variety of complex issues for C and S corporations, partnerships, and business owners. His experience includes tax and business planning for a variety of clients in various industries including manufacturing, retail/wholesaling, high tech, and professional services. Mike has over 20 years of experience as a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin , Whitewater and a Masters Degree in taxation from the University of Wisconsin , Milwaukee .

Mike is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

* Terrie Gaarder, CPA, Assurance Partner- Tomah office- Terrie joined Clifton Gunderson in 1991 as an Assurance Associate. She specializes in providing audit and consulting services to small to medium – sized closely held businesses including Credit Unions, Manufacturers and Agribusiness clients and has over 15 years of experience as a certified public accountant. Her experience includes assisting clients on accounting and business issues, internal controls, implementing new accounting standards, financial reporting issues and acquisition transactions. Terrie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse . She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives.
