CRM Launch is Imminent

MILWAUKEE, WI – One new product and a dramatically enhanced version of another have Brevient Technologies poised for growth in 2006. According to Matt Lautz, Brevient’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), an infusion of private equity has the firm poised to maximize its four-year history of product development by going more aggressively to a broader market in 2006 and beyond.

“We started out as a custom shop then evolved to a blend of custom/packaged software” Lautz said, “The new capital puts us in position to leverage our relationships, experience and products toward a much broader market.”

“This third round of capital sets the stage for a year of transformation,” said Steve Heston, Brevient’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). “Not only has our approach to the software we develop evolved,” he stated, “our approach to the market has matured.” Heston said that, while all the primary investors from the company’s start-up phase also contributed to the capital raise, Brevient attracted “half a dozen or so very high profile and credible new investors,” as well. “The connections that this process added to the mix are every bit as significant as the capital we raised,” added Lautz.

The first launch, actually an “upgrade” according to Lautz, hit the market in the last week of 2005. Brevient Connect 8.5 is Brevient’s newest Web conferencing and audio conferencing solution, deeper and fresher-looking than its predecessor. Adding to the existing features like desktop sharing, white-boarding and audio-bridging, users can now set up ‘Day-of-Meeting’ email reminders, have the ability to record meetings, and exploit dramatically enhanced visuals that make it the “best experience in the industry.” A Web interface has been added to the audio conferencing suite, giving call hosts the capability to manage multi-party calls visually, “a significant market advantage,” according to Lautz. Additionally, Brevient Connect 8.5 now includes Microsoft® Outlook® integration and increased instant messaging capabilities.

FinalCRM is Brevient’s new customer relationship management software. Birthed from Brevient Cohesion’s penetration of large clients, FinalCRM “finally allows companies to deploy CRM on their terms, instead of those of the CRM provider,” said Dennis Casey, Brevient’s head of CRM strategy. “Our Beta clients are already seeing advantages, and this controlled release broadens our scope of validation that we’re fixing the reason most CRM deployments haven’t produced the results companies hoped they would,” he finished.

“These new offerings, and the capital to support the market strategy give us great faith that 2006 will be a real coming-out year for our company,” Lautz concluded.
