VIENNA, Va., Dec. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — AT&T has announced the renewal of a $12 million one-year contract from the United States Postal Service to provide local voice and networking services to 9,000 U.S. Postal Services offices across a 13-state region. AT&T Government Solutions, a business unit of AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) and a leading worldwide provider of IP-based communications services to the federal government, will manage the project.
Under the terms of the contract, which was renewed with AT&T Global Services, AT&T will use local voice services and networking services to provide these U.S. Postal Service offices with a local voice and data connection to the high quality and unsurpassed reliability and security of the AT&T network.

AT&T will provide local voice services to U.S. Postal Services offices based in Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, California and Nevada.
